Warre’s Vintage Port, 1868

img_5014

A light brown, very clear. Aromas of burnt sugar, prunes, figs, sultanas and a little chocolate. A noticeable alcohol. Very herby, rosemary and thyme, caramel, oriental spice. Very subtle and quite dry. Wonderful. Did not score. (June 2003)
