Graham’s Vintage Port, 2007

Cooking compote, lots of fresh and stewed berries, dark, sweet and with jammy and dried fruit. Then a floral note comes through, cocoa powder, cinnamon and black pepper. The palate is sweet pipe tobacco, some liquorice and chocolate and then Christmas cake – marzipan and alcohol laced fruit cake. A really lovely wine. 95pts (Nov 2010)
