Graham’s Vintage Port, 1977

Lots of rich sweet berries, pomegranate, cherry and chocolate, then a hint of burnt pie filling. The palate is full of sweet, spiced red berries leading to dark cherries and caramel on the end coating a prune and date finish. Quite delicious but again the firm alcohol spoils the party. 91pts (Aug 2011)
