Cuvaison Espiritu, 2005

A round, gentle aroma – lots of dark damson jam, a little cream and cherries. Some warmed honey too coming out of the glass. The palate has a spike of alcohol, some very noticeable aniseed and cinnamon bark. Nice fruit, but everything is dominated by the alcohol. Made from Petite Sirah. 86pts (3/18)
